ANNOUNCEMENT

The president from DIRrebreather www.dirrebreather.com, Pim Van der Horst and the CEO of ITDA, Simon Townsend, www.itdahq.org,  have agreed upon extended co-operation between the two agencies. Instructors from both agencies will be allowed to teach the CCR courses from each agency. A cross over of instructors will be possible. This offers to students of both agencies to receive excellent training against interesting course fees. It is also interesting for instructors: they pay only one membership fee.

DIRrebreather is not a training agency. The DIRrebreather team is made of experienced and active Rebreather explorers and instructors who share the same goal: making rebreather diving safer by implementing common sense, standards and DIR Philosophy into Rebreather diving.

Technical Diving is a great sport and ITDA provides a framework of advanced diver education to permit the diver to take full advantage of the underwater world. Initially developed by one of the worlds leading exponents of technical diving, Rob Palmer, these courses create an attitude of mind which ensures safe diving whether in open ocean, inshore waters or deep caves. The courses have also benefited from the input of outstanding diving physiologists, educationalists, engineers, cave divers and retail experts, all of whom have combined to create a successful international training operation and a rapidly growing membership.
